Who am I?

We all have days when we feel lost, confused, hurt , scared or all of the above, but its on these days I realise how much God truly loves us, because by walking with him, calling out to him through our grief or trouble, it makes us stronger and we pull through.

I remember one time when I was gone at a youth gathering, one of the messages is that sometimes storms must happen so God can hold us closer to him. When we stray from him, God wants to bring us back, and in the mist of everything no matter what, God will be there for you to hold you and love you, show you the way.

Sometimes I wonder what I'm supposed to be, who people want me to be, what the world is coming to. At times it seem so scary, like its falling apart with so much violence, and lost people. Everything seems to be crumbling, yet it seems we learn the most from mistakes. So I wonder why God would love any of us, be there for us, when we are so far from him. So after a bad day I turn to my music, and I thought of typing in Casting Crowns.

Who am I came up first, and as I listened I remember that at Lifest I realised what this song truly spoke about, how life hurts, how wrecked we are, yet God is there, not because of us, but on his own judgemeant because he loves us.

I think the song speaks for its self, Listen and enjoy......

We Live ......

Today I am going to focus on a song I like,

I think it shows how valuable life really is, and also gives us hope, so that we never give up. I believe songs like this are needed to speak to us and remind us how lucky we are to live.

~ We Live by. Superchick ~
There's a cross on the side of the road
Where a mother lost her son
How could she know that the morning he left
Would be the last time she'd trade with him for a little more time
(so she could say she loved him one last time)
And hold him tight
But with life we never know when we're coming up to the end of the road
So what do we do then
With tragedy around the bend

We live, we love, we forgive and never give up
Cuz the days we are given are gifts from above
And today we remember to live and to love
We live, we love, we forgive and never give up
Cuz the days we are given are gifts from above
And today we remember to live and to love

There's a man who waits for the tests to
See if the cancer had spread yet
And now he asks why did I wait to live 'til it was time to die
If I could have the time back, how I'd live
Life is such a gift
So how does the story end?
Well, this is your story and it all depends
So don't let it become true
Get out and do what we were meant to do

We live, we love, we forgive and never give up
Cuz the days we are given are gifts from above
And today we remember to live and to love
We live, we love, we forgive and never give up
Cuz the days we are given are gifts from above
And today we remember to live and to love

Waking up to another dark morning
People are mourning
The weather in life outside is storming
But what would it take for the clouds to break
For us to realize each day
Is a gift somehow, someway
And get our heads up out of this darkness
And spark this new mindset and start on with life cuz it ain't gone yet
And tragedy's a reminder to take off the blinders and wake up
(to live the life)
We're supposed to take up
(moving forward)
With all our heads up
Cuz life is worth living

We live, we love, we forgive and never give up
Cuz the days we are given are gifts from above
And today we remember to live and to love
We live, we love, we forgive and never give up
Cuz the days we are given are gifts from above
And today we remember to live and to love

I think the song speaks for itself, thanks to Superchick, and http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/superchick/welive.html

FAQ # 1

How can God love everyone? Even those who seem the lowest of all?

This came up in bible study today, in many different forms and a lot of questions branched off of this one. I feel this might just be one of the biggest questions anyone can ask about God, and most seem to dance around the question
because no one has an answer. So since this question is so huge, why not start
off with it?

What I realised : There is a whole lot of questions involved in faith and for the most part no one can answer except God himself, yet we still wonder and we still want to know because that's who we are. In the end is seems as though its just waiting ... Waiting until we get to ask him ourselves. We can guess, but it's so far out there, the real answer anyway, that we wont know until our time with God comes.

Still its so annoying to have such little answers isnt it? At least I think so, and I'm sure it bothers most of us who question, because our questions rarely get answered. All through bible study we usually end on we wont know until God tells us, which is a truthful and for the most part acceptable answer, but it leaves a problem ... we still want to know, but we can't possibly understand it all yet.

My thoughts on this FAQ (for those wondering Frequently Asked Question) :

God is God. God can do what he wants, and no matter what he's always loved us. For me thinking about friends I have that on horrilbe days don't get why I care, and when I say I do, they don't understand why because I can't give a reason. When this happens I simply say I just do there is no reason, so just deal with it. To me its the same for God. God has no definite reason, he just loves us, even the lowest of the low. Yes, God may get mad but doesn't every parent get mad at their children at some point? He loves us all ... no clear reason why, but he does ...

For a song, I choose Me and Jesus, I am not sure if it goes, but who cares its a good song :) By Stellar Kart

Hmm, now what?

Well Welcome to my Faith Blog,

First of all I have no idea why I started it, but I thought it would be a good idea. I thought of it during Bible discussion, maybe it will help me or others grown in faith.

Second of all all of this is from mostly my veiw point, anything I say is personal to me, and I am by far the last person to have what I say be true, so understand I am not trying to push anything, or argue my point is better.

Third of all I love comments, and discussion so feel free to do so.

Have fun reading,
